Annual Congregational Meeting follows service

Midweek Oasis – January 18 at 7:00 p.m.Sometimes it feels like an eternity from Sunday to Sunday. Sometimes we just need a scheduled time with God. Sometimes we need the support and fellowship of other believers in a more intentional way. Sometimes we need a resting place, and sometimes we just need someone to remind us to pray. Midweek Oasis will seek to be those things; it will be an intentional time of prayer and meditation. We hope you will join us as we fellowship together near to the heart of God.

Community Events . . . . . . . . . . . . .

Blood Drive at Monaghan

The Boy Scouts are sponsoring a community blood drive on Thursday, January 18, from 3:00 to 7:30 p.m. in the Monaghan Presbyterian Church narthex. Winter blood donors are needed. To schedule your life saving donation, please call 1-800-RED CROSS (733-2767) or visit for an appointment to donate blood. Appointments are encouraged. You can streamline your donation experience and save up to 15 minutes by visiting to complete your pre-donation reading and health history questions on the day of your appointment.

Monaghan Quilters

Please drop in any Wednesday morning at 9:00 a.m. and enjoy the camaraderie of the Monaghan Quilters. Everyone is welcome to join us, whether a quilter or not! You can even bring along your own project to work on while you’re here with us.
Important FYI: You may come pick out a quilt for someone who is in recovery, having a baby, to thank a veteran, or for someone having an extra-special celebration and would appreciate a Monaghan lap quilt. Although donations are greatly appreciated, there is absolutely no charge to you. Speaking of donations, thank you to everyone who cleans out a sewing space and brings the treasures to the quilt room. The quilters express gratitude to both the anonymous and known supporters. All sewing items are appre- ciated, and items that the quilters cannot use are passed on to other volunteer groups.
